Presentación
We are a group of students from Colegio Inmaculada, in Gijón, Asturias. Our cooperative is called GBC, which is the acronym of ‘Good, Beautiful and Cheap’. We’ve chosen this name because it is the way we sell: good things, beautiful things and, above all, cheap things.
In our cooperative we are eleven members: six girls and five boys. We are divided into three departments: Marketing, International Sales and Accounting. We work in this subject twice a week: from 9.15 to 10.10 on Wednesdays and from 13.40 to 14.35 on Fridays.
The main objectives of our cooperative are to get some experience in the entrepreneurial world, exchange products with other places and to learn some English. Of course, our other objective is to make a profit, as any other enterprise.
In relation to finance, another important thing is the money invested. We have democratically decided to invest 15€ each . Because we want to help someone with our project, we decided to send 20% of our profit to the Spanish Association Against Cancer (AECC).
We like sports, going out with friends and having a good time, which is another one of our objectives we have this year.
